Oaks Candy, located in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, is a manufacturer, wholesaler, and retailer of high end, quality chocolates and candies. Oaks Candy was established by my great-great-grandfather’s brother, Jon Oaks in 1890. More than 120 years and five generations later, we are still doing business much the same way it was done when our company was founded. We differentiate ourselves from other candy companies by continuing to make candy the way it has been produced for generations.

Our old fashioned production methods remain attractive to generations of loyal customers who have kept us thriving throughout our history. We use the finest ingredients we can find, decades of confectionery expertise, labor-intensive production practices, and unique proprietary recipes to create the highest quality products possible.

We also pride ourselves in providing our customers the best possible service. We produce a vast assortment of quality chocolates and candies, and give our customers the ability to customize each and every box of candy they purchase. We will even gift wrap each box for any occasion, and let customers include a message for gifting at no additional charge.

Perhaps our most significant accomplishment has been our longevity. Five generations is a long time to maintain any business, but this accomplishment is particularly unique among family businesses. In fact, only about 30 percent of family businesses survive under the same owning family beyond the first generation. Only about 12 percent survive to the third generation and only 4 percent survive to the fourth. We attribute this feat to our hard work, good business practices, and most of all to our loyal customers.  

We consider ourselves very fortunate to have customers who have continually looked to us, generation after generation, to help satisfy their sweet tooth. We hope that you will allow us the honor of becoming a tradition in your family.
